Alice R. Schyvinch, age 93, of Baraboo, formerly of rural Reedsburg, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at St. Clare Meadows in Baraboo. She was born on November 30, 1924, in Juneau County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph and Germaine (Maddens) Landuyt. On June 11, 1947, Alice was united in marriage to Eugene Schyvinch at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lyndon Station. This marriage was blessed with two children. Alice and Gene farmed in rural Reedsburg until Gene passed away on March 9, 2000. She also sold seed and chickens and eggs off the farm. Alice was called upon by many for the dynamiting that needed to be done in the area. She was a hard worker with a strong work ethic and encouraged family to do the same. Alice was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Reedsburg, and a former member of the Dellona Homemakers. During her later years, Alice enjoyed crocheting and gave afghans to family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary; parents; sister, Mary in infancy; and brothers-in-law, Robert Mitchell, Tom Morris and Andrew Schyvinch; sister-in-law, Godlieve (Robert) Rott.

Son-in-law, Bob Weiland of Baraboo;
Grandchildren, Matt Weiland and Justine of Baraboo, Katie (Ryan) Richert of Lyndon Station, Kurt (Jenny) Schyvinch of Mauston, Amy (Marques) Koenig of Reedsburg, Ben (Nicole) Raboine of Tomah, Christine Raboine of Reedsburg;
Great grandchildren, Rayha, Rachel and Ross Richert, Jacelyn, Aubrey, and Austin Koenig, Austin and Haley Weiland, Marcus and Allison and Bucky;
Sisters, Elizabeth Mitchell of Lyndon Station and Rosie Morris of Mauston; brother, John (Dollie) Landuyt of Mauston;
Sisters-in-law, LaVonne and Madeline Schyvinch;
Several nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Alice R. Schyvinch will be conducted at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 25, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Dellona Township. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with the Rosary prayed at 4:30 PM. Visitation will also be held on Monday from 9:30 until the time of the service at the church.
