Avis Mohring Obituary

Avis Pearl (Gill) Mohring, age 76, of Reedsburg, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at Our House Assisted Living on Mack Drive in Reedsburg.

Avis was born December 4, 1941, in Kenosha, WI to the late Donald and Charlotte (Johnson) Gill. In February 1967, she married Robert Morhring and they had one daughter Stacey.

Avis enjoyed bicycle riding, watching bike races and spending time with her friends. Avis also enjoyed reminiscing about her days as a stewardess for Eastern Airlines.

She worked for her parents for many years at Don Gill’s Bike shop in Kenosha.

Survivors include her daughter Stacey (Jacob) Kulas of Reedsburg and her granddaughters Baily and Micah Kulas.

A memorial service for Avis Mohring will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at 2:00 pm, at Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg. Michael Amberg, Chaplain for Home Health Hospice will officiate. Visitation will also be on Wednesday, at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of service.
