Curran Carson-Owens Obituary

Curran A. Carson-Owens, age 34, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019, at his home peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born on January 8, 1985 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Samuel Carson and Lettie Owens.

He is survived by his parents Lettie Owens and Samuel Carson, three sisters; Samisha Carson-Owens of Milwaukee, Bristol Carson-Owens of Milwaukee, and Bijon Fox of Reedsburg, his brother, Shelton (Tamera) Carson-Owens of Denton, Texas, his maternal grandmother Rosielee Smith, paternal grandmother Mable Carson, step-grandmother Carrie Brannon, seven aunts, eleven uncles along with three nieces four nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by three grandfathers; Saul Brannon, Harvey Carson and Robert Smith. His uncle Robert Smith Jr., and his nephew Demetrius Carson-Owens.

A memorial service for Curran will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg, with Brian K. Highshaw conducting the service. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
