Deborah McMullen Obituary

Deborah Kay McMullen, age 61, of Mauston, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019. She was born on December 31, 1957 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of William Thomas Cobb and Shirley Jean Cormier. On December 17, 2005, Deb was united in marriage to James W. McMullen. Deb and Jim enjoyed camping together, and traveling; especially trips to watch NASCAR races where she once met her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Deb was an avid garage sale shopper and a fan of the Green Bay Packers.

She was preceded in death by her mother; brothers, Danny Cobb and Neal White.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Jim of Mauston; father, Thomas Cobb of Georgia; her daughters, Sharin (Fred) Sass of Reedsburg, Dana (David) McDade of North Carolina, Jan Murphy of Florida, and Michelle Orr of Texas; son, Robert Boyce of Texas; grandchildren, Austin Murphy of Reedsburg and Taylor Smith of North Carolina; granddaughter, Jewel and grandson, Bubba; sisters, April Patterson of Georgia, Brenda Brock, Margie King, and Ellen Hale; brothers, Dewayne (Kathy) Walker of Missouri, and Billy Cobb; many nieces and nephews; her dog, Susie and her cat, Bella.

In honoring Deb’s wishes there will be no formal services. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

The Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, is assisting the family.
