Dennis Lee Haan

Dennis Lee Haan, 69, of LaValle, passed away early Friday morning, November 29, 2019.

Dennis was born October 15, 1950 in Parkersburg, Iowa to the late Harold and Lillian (Sents) Haan.  Dennis served as an M.P. in the U.S. Army.  On January 10, 1975, he married Helen Dingel at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA.  The couple moved to what would become their home farm between Reedsburg and Baraboo and began pig farming in 1980.

In addition to his wife Helen, he is survived by his children, Alison Haan of Baraboo and Dennis John Haan of LaValle.  He is also survived by his grandchildren; Chayton, Hunter and Veronica Farrington, his sister Nancy (Larry) Skipper of Oklahoma, and his uncle Paul Haan of Parkersburg, IA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Roger.

A Memorial Service for Dennis will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at 2:00 pm, at Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg.  The Reverend Sonny Hyde, Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church will officiate.  Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of service.  Military rites will follow services.
