Donald Pierce Obituary
Donald Gene Pierce, age 78 of Reedsburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Sauk County Health Care Center in Reedsburg. He was born on December 20, 1939 the son of Albert and Ruby (Rathman) Pierce in Baraboo, WI. Donald was united in marriage to Lois Ann Bruce on November 7, 1970, in Reedsburg, WI.
Donald was employed at Kluge's filling station in Baraboo, Coca Cola Distributer for 25 years, Hills Wiring of Baraboo, and retired from Service Electric of Madison. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, working outside, mowing lawn, he loved cars and watching sports especially the Packers and the Badgers. Donald loved taking his grandkids to the farm with the tractor and enjoyed watching them in their sporting activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Bonnie Bowen.
Donald is survived by his wife, Lois of Reedsburg;
Children, Scott (Gina) Pierce of Baraboo,
Katrina (Jeremy) Dietzman of Greenleaf, WI;
Grandchildren, Ella and Carter Pierce and Robbie Dietzman;
Siblings: Jewel Pennington, William (Allison) Pierce, Dick (Pat) Pierce, Peggy (Chuck) Pieteontoni, Denny Pierce, Pam Johnson;
Brothers and sisters-in-law, Mitch Bowen, Richard (Avice) Bruce, Virginia (Duane) Kopf, Jim (Gail) Bruce;
Along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Donald G. Pierce will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Greenwood Chapel in Reedsburg with Pastor Blake Overlien officiating. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Farber Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Chapel.
