Eleanor M Templin

Eleanor M. Templin, age 95, of Reedsburg, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center.  She was born on September 27, 1923, in Ithaca, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Hissey) Schauf. Eleanor graduated from Ithaca High School.  On October 26, 1943, Eleanor was united in marriage to Joseph G. Templin. 

Eleanor and Joseph enjoyed square dancing and traveled and danced extensively as members of the Loganville square dance club.  She was also an avid seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph on June 8, 2005; her son, Gary Wayne who died in infancy.

Eleanor is survived by her son, Ronald (Arnita) Templin of Reedsburg; grandsons, Todd Templin and Tim (Michelle) Templin; great grandchildren, Trevor and fiance’, Cheyenne, Taylor, Adam, Haley and Hunter Templin.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Eleanor M. Templin will be conducted at 11:30 AM on Friday, November 16, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Reedsburg, with Father David Carrano officiating.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:30 AM until the time of the Mass at the church.  Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

The family wishes to thank the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center Staff and SSM Health at Home Hospice for the wonderful care given to Eleanor.
