Eve Foege Obituary
Eve M. Foege, age 43, of Reedsburg, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the University of
Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, WI, ending a challenging, courageous battle with cancer. The
daughter of Ronald and Christine (Egge) Wetter, Eve was born on February 20, 1975 in
Lancaster, WI. She grew up on the family farm, where she developed her fun-loving spirit and
strong work ethic as she spent time with siblings and cousins, took on church and 4-H activities,
and enjoyed showing draft horses. Eve graduated from UW-Platteville in 1997,
where she triple majored in Communication, Business, and Marketing, made lifelong friends,
and was a radio DJ.
On October 23, 1999, Eve was united in marriage to Mark Foege. They made a home in
Reedsburg and became a family of five. Eve's greatest love was for her family and all she did
was with them in mind. She was active with her children's school events, sports, and activities,
including both the Boy and Girl Scouts. For her advanced adult leadership role, Eve proudly
earned a Boy Scout Wood Badge. Throughout her life she was involved in her church. Eve was
active and well-loved in her community, where she built a close network of family and friends
with whom she connected deeply. Eve took pride in her career over the past 20 years, working
for her close friend, and more recently serving as the CEO of the Crazy Daisy. Always creating
happy experiences and memories for her children, just last summer, the family embarked on an
extended trip out west, adventuring around the country and stopping off to spend quality time
with close family, friends, and colleagues along the way.
Eve is survived by her husband Mark; children, Braxton, Allen and Sadie; mother, Christine
Wetter, and father, Ronald Wetter; mother-in-law, Mary Foege; siblings, Kari Wetter (Jamie
White), Josh (Debbie) Wetter; along with countless other relatives and friends. She was
preceded in death by her father-in-law, Michael Foege
Funeral services for Eve M. Foege will be conducted on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at
the United Methodist Church in Reedsburg with Pastor Vickie Brantmeyer officiating. Burial will
take place at Greenwood Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held on
Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Farber Funeral Home and again on
Thursday from 10 until the time of service at the church.
