Glenna Rathman Obituary

 

Glenna J. Rathman, age 69, of Lyndon Station, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018, in Madison.  She was born on December 9, 1948, in Baraboo, WI, the daughter of Glenn and Dorothy (Bible) Sainsbury.  On May 25, 1968, Glenna was united in marriage to Ronald Nolden at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baraboo.  Ron preceded her in death on February 11, 1972.  On March 17, 1978, Glenna was united in marriage to Wilbert Rathman.  Wil preceded her in death on March 6, 2004.  Glenna held various jobs throughout the years and was most recently employed at Miller Store in Lyndon Station.  She was a former member of the Lemonweir Homemakers and was very involved in working the elections in Lyndon Township.  She cherished her cats, Muffin and Sylvester, but above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.   Glenna was an avid quilter and sewist.

She was also preceded in death by her father, Glenn Sainsbury; sister, Susan Hill, and brother, Lee Luetkens.

Glenna is survived by her mother, Dorothy (Kenneth) Luetkens of Baraboo;

Children, Charles (Kelli) Nolden of Reedsburg, and Cory (Michelle) Rathman of LaValle;

Grandchildren, Paige, Samantha, Colin, and Adeline Nolden, and Alex Rathman;

Brother, James (Carol) Luetkens, along with other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service for Glenna J. Rathman will be conducted at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with Father David Carrano officiating.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 6:30 PM at the funeral home.  Private family burial will take place in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Baraboo, at a later date.
