Jeffrey Scott Even Sr.

Jeffrey Scott Even, Sr, age 47, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019.  Jeff grew up in the Reedsburg area and graduated from Webb high School in 1990. He went into the Navy in 1990, and served on the USS Yosemite and USS Jack Williams and ended his Navy career in 1998. Jeff was married during this time and welcomed two sons into the world:  Jeffrey Even and Cody Even. During his second marriage, he relocated to Nashville and after that marriage ended he remained in Nashville until his Dad became ill and he moved back to Wisconsin. He worked for various businesses in the area over the years and most recently was employed by Skinner Transfer.

Survivors include his sons, Jeffrey Even and Cody Even of Cazenovia; his mother, Sandra Wagner, of Reedsburg; his sister, Dione Valadez; half-brother, Derek Wagner, of Reedsburg; his aunts, Anna Mae Sorenson of Mauston, Joan (Harlan) Meyer and Paulette (Terry) Greenwood of Reedsburg; and special friend, Tracy Lehman, of Lake Delton along with numerous other relatives and friends including his best Navy buddy, John T Frye, GMC (SW) United States Navy (Ret). of Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Even; step mother, Gloria Even; and step father, Ronald Wagner; along with his grandparents.

A memorial service for Jeff Even will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with Daniel Farber officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Military honors will be accorded following the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
