Joseph Richard Tourdot, 79, of Reedsburg, died peacefully in his home, December 28, 2018, after a wonderful Christmas holiday with his family.
Joseph was born February 17, 1939, with his twin brother Bob, to the late August and Florence (Kaldenberg) Tourdot. On October 8, 1960, he married Mary Lou Bodendein.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Reedsburg.
Joseph was employed by J.C. Penney for over 25 years in retail management.
In addition to his wife Mary, of 58 years, survivors include their children;
Mary Jo (Brad) Huber of Reedsburg, Sherry Churchill of Reedsburg, Bill (Kelly) Tourdot of Warrens and Scott (Kellee) Tourdot of Camp Douglas.
Grandchildren; Susanne (Matt) Weber of Tomah, Michael (Katie) Huber of Plover, Andrew Huber of Onalaska, Lindsay Churchill and David Hartwig of Germantown, Ryan (Danielle) Churchill of Reedsburg, Matthew (Kaela) Tourdot of Madison, and Thomas Tourdot also of Madison.
Great-grandchildren; Jack, Elliott, Jacob and Penelope.

Sisters; Florence (Wallace Jr.) Bradley, Ruth Lawinger, Jeanette Steive and Evelyn (Edward) Bulin.
He was preceded in death by his brothers; George, Edward and Charles Tourdot, and his sisters; Mary Gallagher, Helen Kaul and Anna Wegner.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Joseph Thursday, January 3, 2019, at 11:30 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Reverend David Carrano, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 from 3:30 pm until 6:30 pm, at Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg, and at the church on Thursday from 10:30 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
