Julane T. Lunde

Julane T. Lunde, age 87, of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Our House Assisted Living, Mack Drive in Reedsburg.  She was born on July 19, 1931, in Gary, IN, the daughter of Edwin and Esther (Biermeier) Timmons.  Julane was employed with Honeywell in Minneapolis for 34 years.  On January 8, 1955, she was united in marriage to George M. Lunde.  This marriage was blessed with two daughters.  After moving to Reedsburg, Julane worked at both the Badger Ammunition Plant and the Sauk County Health Care Center for several years. Julane was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in LaValle. She was an avid bowler, and was known to enjoy a Culvers Turtle Sundae now and then. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; brothers: Roy, Edwin Jr, Roland, Robert and Bill Timmons; and sister, Bernice Jacobs.

Julane is survived by her daughters, Theresa Garrett (Thomas Garrett) of Reedsburg,  Kathy (Daniel) Stoltz of LaValle; granddaughter, Shade Garrett (Eric Utley) of Reedsburg; great grandson, Edric Utley; sister, Mary Anderson of LaValle; along with nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.

A special thank you to the staff of Our House and Agrace Hospice for the wonderful care given to Julane.

A Memorial Mass for Julane T. Lunde will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Holy Family Catholic Church, LaValle, with Father Sanctus Ibe officiating. Burial will take place in Oak Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
