Kevin D. Maggard

Kevin Dean Maggard, 53, born in Reedsburg, WI on  June 13, 1966, unexpectedly passed away November 7, 2019 in his home in Wisconsin Dells WI, resting in peace with mother Margret Ann (Dickie) Maggard.

Kevin was loved by many.  He was an amazing dad, grandfather, uncle, brother, son, and friend.
He loved to cook and was very much good at it that many could say.  HIs favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas, going completely overboard with the Christmas decorations every year with the grandchildren's assistance.  It was amazing to see what he came up with every year. He was the kind of person to say there were never enough lights!  Kevin was sarcastic and a prankster, and a great person to vent to when you needed to let off some steam.
Kevin was a semi-truck driver for 35 years. He absolutely loved traveling around the US occasionally taking his daughter Kimberly over the road.  They have traveled to Texas for Christmas break, Kentucky, Illinois, etc. Kevin has lots of crazy stories to tell about him and his friends in his high school years all them were something to laugh about. One of Kevin's favorite hobbies was camping. He would go with family and friends whenever he had the chance.

When Kevin was young in the year 1981 in 8th-9th grade he was in a band called the Sound Squad with friends from school.  Kevin as bass, Jeff Wagner guitar, Ronald Boyd guitar, Glenn Sullivan guitar, Darren Bianca drums and also Dave Bergman also drums.  They would go play jam sessions together.

He is survived by his daughters Kimberly Lehmann and her husband Michael Lehmann,  Liz Manley and her husband Justin Manley;  grandchildren Hailey, Keirah, Tayla and Scottie; brother Alvin Valadez; nephews Ulrich, Brandon, Allan, Marcus, and niece Elizabeth; Jamie Karl Tommy and Vivian Anderson  adopted daughters that have been brought into the family over the years (close friends of daughter)  Kaila Parker and boyfriend Chris Lehmann (brother of Michael Lehmann),  Monica and her daughter Sofia,  Tricia Bibber and her children Graceyanne and Alexander, and  Brianna and Phil Gooding.

Kevin had some very close friends in his life that has meant the world to him through the years. They are Vicki Krasel, Tracy Lehmann, Kevin Mckenzie, Ray Johnson, Dan Smith, Haak and nana, Tiny Ruland, Mike and Chris Fanta with their sons Nick Jed and Jon, and many more.

A memorial service for Kevin Maggard will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Mike Amberg, Chaplain of SSM Health at Home Hospice officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.

Kevin will be always loved and severely missed. He left way to soon... but we all know he will always be in our hearts, and laughing at us at every duh moment we have.  You are gone but will never be forgotten
