Margaret A. Maggard

Margaret A. Maggard, age 80, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. She was born on August 28, 1938, in Reedsburg, WI, the daughter of Kenneth H. and Mildred (Carr) Dickie. She was a 1957 graduate of Webb High School in Reedsburg.  Margaret was employed at Badger Ordnance for several years and later at the Sauk County Health Care Center as a CNA for 23 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends, but especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, and will be remembered for her incredible baking.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother in infancy, and brothers Dean, Paul and Gerald Dickie.

Margaret is survived by her sons: Alvin Valadez of Reedsburg, and Kevin Maggard of Wisconsin Dells; grandchildren: Ulrich, Brandon, Elizabeth, Allan and Marcas Valadez, Kimberly Lehmann and Elizabeth Manley; great-grandchildren: Coby, Isabella, Zendaya, Hailey, Keirah, Scottie and Tayla;  sister-in-law, Barb Mobley; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Margaret Maggard will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg.  Burial will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom. Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
