Mary M. Ferguson

Mary M. Ferguson, age 86, of Reedsburg, formerly of Cazenovia, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at the Sauk County Health Care Center. She was born on April 18, 1924, in Richland County, Wisconsin, the daughter of James P. and Nellie (Neary) Connors. On October 12, 1946, Mary was united in marriage to Delford Ferguson at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Germantown. Delford preceded her in death on June 24, 2003. Mary was an avid sewer and loved to dance. She will be remembered for her love of chocolate and her great cooking. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Patrick Connors and Michael Ferguson; grandson, Steve Connors; daughter-in-law, Julie Ferguson; brothers, Martin and Mike Connors; and sister, Sal Connors. Mary is survived by her daughter, Deb Ferguson; Son, Jim "Jillberry" Ferguson, both of Cazenovia; Grandchildren, Mike (Patti) Ferguson, Marty (Jenny) Ferguson, Brad Hutchens and Annette, Trevor Ferguson, Pete Connors, Carla (Tom) Zimmerman, Chris (Rick) Blood, and Angie Coy; 11 great grandchildren; Many nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mary M. Ferguson will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at the Cazenovia Chapel in Cazenovia with Father Lorin Bowens officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bridget's Cemetery, rural Cazenovia. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the Cazenovia Chapel.
