Nancy Ann Junge was born November 19, 1959 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to Robert and Donna Romberg. As a young girl she always wanted a horse, at 12 years of age her parents gave her one. She spent much time with the horse, training and riding.
On May 1, 1975, she married Michael Junge. Mike and Nancy spent a few years in Wisconsin and Texas before settling in Alaska in 1981. Together they raised four children, Matthew, Timothy, Carrie and Nicole.
On November 17, 1991, Nancy was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was motivated to tell others what she had learned and spent many hours each month in her volunteer ministry. She helped many come know what the Bible teaches.
She always enjoyed her time with her grandchildren, teaching them Bible stories, American Sign Language, and about flowers and birds.
Nancy loved to garden, it was therapy for her. Even as a little girl, she enjoyed the outdoors. One of the last things she wanted to do was camping and the weekend before she died, she did just that, with family and friends around her.
As she shared these Bible truths with others, they became dearer to her heart. One vital truth that she would share was that of the resurrection of the dead to a paradise earth. A hope that she is now part of as she rests in God’s memory.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 in Wasilla, Alaska.
