Patrick M. Condon

Patrick M. Condon, age 79, of rural Wonewoc, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018, at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. He was born on August 3, 1938, in Reedsburg, WI, the son of Maurice and Margaret (Manion) Condon.  Pat proudly served his country in the US Army.  On August 21, 1971, he was united in marriage to Patricia A. Hayes at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Hillsboro.  This marriage was blessed with three children.  Pat farmed most of his life.  He was a former member of the NFO, serving as Past President.  He was a licensed cheesemaker and enjoyed driving for the Amish.  Pat was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Germantown, Knights of Columbus, the Cazenovia American Legion Post #491, and an active member of the Rural Life Committee of the Diocese of LaCrosse where he started “Project Milk” which supplied milk to people inCentral America.  He was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Condon of rural Wonewoc;

Children: Peggy (Chuck) Connors of Cazenovia, Susan (Shawn) Wallace of Hillsboro, Maurice (Amy) Condon of Wonewoc;

Grandchildren: Katie Klang, Chase and Myles Connors, Shawn, Seth and Halie Wallace;

Great grandson, Collin Klang; along with nieces, nephews and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patrick M. Condon will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Germantown with Father Nathan Thainase officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.  The Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 AM.
