Paula Nee Obituary

Paula Ann Nee, age 56, of Richland Center, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at the University Hospital in Madison. She was born on February 9, 1962 in Richland Center, WI, the daughter of John A. Nee Sr. and Florence (Brandt) Nee. Paula was a 1980 graduate of Richland Center High School. She sang soprano in the high school choir. She graduated from U.W. Richland Center with an Associate Degree in Arts while working two jobs. She was employed at McDonalds in the mornings and the Brewer Public Library in the afternoon. In her younger years, she was in the Richland Campus theatrical production, the “Music Man”. She was an avid reader, liked to go to the movies, enjoyed word searches and latch hook rugs. Paula followed golf and the Olympics. She was a proud and loving aunt, and enjoyed her dog, Boots.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Florence Nee; infant sister, Ruth Louise.

Paula is survived by her brothers and sisters: Karoline Nee and Faith Nee, both at home, John Anthony Nee Jr. (Amy) of Madison, Linda Naomi Nee of Madison, Peter Arthur Nee of Redmond, Washington; Nieces and nephew: Elizabeth Nee Flynn (Chris) of Chicago, IL, John A. “Jack” Nee III of Madison, Cyndara “Dara” Foust of Richland Center, and Katharine Nee of Minneapolis, MN; Great nephew and niece: Coleman and Margaret Flynn; Aunts: Jeri Kennah of Lander, WY, Beverly Nee of Richland Center, John and Lucille Roediger of Howards Grove, and Rudolph and Joanne Brandt of Reedsburg; Along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Paula Ann Nee will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hillpoint with Pastor Tim Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hillpoint. A visitation will be held from 12 noon until the time of the service at the church. Memorials of remembrance are preferred in lieu of flowers.
