Robert "Bobby" Kuehn

Robert “Bobby” Kuehn was born on December 20, 1958 and died to this life on December 5th, 2018, after a severe illness.  He has gone to join his father, James Kuehn and we know he is now perfect, whole and with God. 

Bobby has been well cared for and loved for most of his life by the staff of the Wisconsin Residential Care Centers.  For the past 30 years, he has been at Central Wisconsin Center.  The family will always be grateful for the excellent personal, loving and dignified care they have provided for him.  We were especially touched by the staff members who came to spend time with him at the hospital, and who were there to say goodbye.

Bobby loved wheeling his chair around Aylward Hall, often bumping into people and things in the rooms and hallways.  He would even stop into certain offices.  He enjoyed music and rhythm, plunking on a piano or beating a drum. He was especially fond of listening to Adele and Norah Jones.  He loved eating cookies and Culver’s custard, and even tried new foods at the Center’s special meals and holidays.  The Center was amazing at providing a wide variety experiences for him: parties, picnics and other outdoor activities (even camping) as well as various field trips.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Kuehn, his brother, Paul Kuehn, and his sisters Cindi Morgan (Rich), Mary Lou Judas (Timm) and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Bobby on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church in LaValle, WI.  Reverend Sanctus Ibe, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. Visitation will also be on Saturday, at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  Burial will follow services at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
