Thomas Edward McManamy

Thomas Edward McManamy, 75, of LaValle, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019, at UW Hospital and Clinics in Madison.

Tom was born June 16, 1943, in Baraboo to the late Joseph P. and Charlotte A. (Graves) McManamy.  He graduated from Webb High School, Reedsburg.  On June 17, 1967, he married Faye Wormet at The First Presbyterian Church in Reedsburg where they continued to be long and active members.

He was employed by Grede Foundry, Reedsburg. for 37 years, retiring as a Plant Engineer.

Tom enjoyed life with his family and friends, fixing anything that needed fixing, and his status as captain of his pontoon boat on Lake Redstone.

In addition to his wife Faye, he is survived by his three sons: Todd (Dawn) McManamy of Columbus, WI, Rodney (Tammy) McManamy of Apache Junction, AZ, and Brian (Laurie) McManamy of  Illinois; his grandchildren Mackenzie and Zachary McManamy of Lodi, WI;  his sisters Charlotte Coughlin of Killeen TX, Barbara (Bruce) Byrne of Haddonfield, NJ and Kathy McManamy of Portage, WI; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Nancy (Gordon) Esser and half-brother Joseph Junior McManamy.

Funeral Services for Tom will be held Friday, June 21, 2019, at 11:00 am at The First Presbyterian Church of Reedsburg.  The Reverend Joseph Corbin, Pastor, will officiate.  Visitation will be on Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Farber Funeral Home and at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.  Burial will follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery in LaValle.

A memorial fund has been established for the First Presbyterian Church in Reedsburg.
