Thomas James Retlzlaff

Thomas J. Retzlaff, age 61, of Reedsburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. He was born on November 26, 1957 in Elgin, Illinois, the son of James P. and Geraldine (Eshleman) Retzlaff.

Tom graduated from Barrington High School. He then graduated college from Normal School in Illinois. He was an Operations Manager in Commodities.  Thomas was an all-around sports fan, with an emphasis on the Chicago Bulls and Bears. He especially enjoyed golfing and bowling. Growing up he always looked forward to spending time with his cousins and other family and friends at the annual Retzlaff /Miller Family camping trip at Upper Gresham Lake Campground in Vilas County, WI. Thomas also enjoyed his dog Gandalf, his faithful companion for 9 years. 

Thomas is survived by his mother, Geraldine of Reedsburg; along with other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father James, and his two brothers Michael and Jeffrey.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Reedsburg with Pastor Vicki Brantmeyer officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
