Timothy Ryczek Obituary
Timothy J. Ryczek, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 16, 2018, at his home in Reedsburg. He was born on July 7, 1961, the son of Thomas and Annie (Phillips) Ryczek. On September 5, 1980, Tim was married to his best friend, Kathleen Strutz. This marriage was blessed with three daughters. Kathy preceded him in death on September 22, 2015.
Tim was employed at Grede Foundry from July 1979 to the present. He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, shooting pool, horseshoes and yard work. His biggest joy was spending time with his girls and grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judy Hinze; grandparents, Hubert 'Fat' and Evelyn Phillips; and father-in-law, Richard 'Buff' Strutz.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Scott) Westphal of La Valle, Angela Ryczek (Brandon O'Leary) of Reedsburg, Holly (Jeff Arendsee) Ryczek of Baraboo;
Grandchildren, Brianna, Taylor, Trevor, Brady, Kielly, Tierney and Jaxson;
Siblings: Terry (Connie) Ryczek, Karin Ryczek, Michael (Ardie) Ryczek, Kathy (Rick) Holtz, Debbie (Gordy) Finnegan, Dennis (Dawn) Ryczek, Kevin Ryczek, and Missy Ryczek; Mother-in-law, Audrey Strutz; brothers and sisters-in-law, Julie (Bob) Coens, and Mike (Julie) Strutz; along with many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Timothy J. Ryczek will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 21, 2017, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with Chaplain Mike Amberg officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
