Wallace E. Jones

Wallace E. “Wally” Jones, 81, of Reedsburg, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018. He was born on February 3, 1937, in the Town of Rockbridge, the son of Russell and Caroline (Fogo) Jones.

Among his jobs were driving bus and taxi and delivered papers for many years.  Wallace liked drawing, calligraphy, and writing poetry.  He enjoyed music and was a good whistler.  Wally had a special knack for stretching the truth and making people smile.

Wallace is survived by his children, Brian (Karina) Jones, of Viola, Geraldine Feinberg, of Reedsburg, and Gene Messerschmidt of Mauston;

Grandchildren: Natalie, Zane, Lucy, Phebe and Orson Jones, Kevin and Stephanie Feinberg, and Jayce Littlegeorge; Great-grandchildren: Keaton Feinberg and Rylie Littlegeorge;

Brothers and Sister: Tom (Marlys) Jones of Winona, Minnesota, Francis (Lillian) Jones of LaCrosse, Wisconsin and Delores (Arnold) Wagaman of Kenai, Alaska;

Several nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vivian Pearl Jones, who passed away on July 12, 2016, and daughter, Lucinda Littlegeorge; and sisters, Anna Buroker, Mardelle Tracy and Mary Foglia; and brother, John Jones.

A memorial service for Wally Jones will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
