Angelica Jo Dix, age 9, of Reedsburg, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024. She was born on June 29, 2014 in Reedsburg, the daughter of Alex Dix and Ashley Rupp. She was baptized on August 24, 2014 at Faith Lutheran Church in Reedsburg, witnessed by godparents, aunts Melissa Dix and Amanda Dix.

Angelica had special needs but was given the means to the best life possible. She attended Spring Hill Elementary School in Wisconsin Dells. She loved bubbles, unicorns, going outside and touching pretty flowers, smelling lilacs and listening to the wind blow.

She was so excited when her favorite shows were on TV, “Full House” and “Home Improvement” kept her attention, and even got her giggling. Grandma always got a good laugh doing “silly” dances for her.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Joseph Dix.

Angelica is survived by her father, Alex Dix of Reedsburg; mother, Ashley Rupp of Wisconsin Dells; half-sister Addison Drea; maternal grandmother Renee Shull; and her children Brittney and Codi; paternal grandparents, Helen Dix-Breneman and Don Breneman; uncles and aunts, Aaron and Melissa Dix and their children Connor and Kelsey, Anthony and Amanda Dix and their children Grayson and Arlo.

Angelica is now an angel in heaven being held in the arms of Jesus.

Funeral services for Angelica will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Faith Lutheran Church in Reedsburg with Pastor Steven Neyhart officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Farber Funeral Home, and on Saturday from 2:30 P.M. until the time of the service at the church.

Memorials of remembrance may be made to assist with funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.
