Anita L. Pagel

Anita L. Pagel, age 71, of Loganville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. She was born on January 16, 1949, the daughter of Leo J. and Mary L. (Cooper) Hill. On March 23, 1964, she was united in marriage to Leon R. Pagel. This marriage was blessed with two children. Anita had been employed for over 30 years as a CNA at the Sauk County Health Care Center.

She enjoyed farm life and the cattle, nurturing homeless cats and dogs, and feeding the hummingbirds and bluebirds. Anita also liked to spend time fishing and doing yard work.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Leon on June 10, 1995.

She is survived by her children, Rodney (Kathryn) Pagel of Loganville, and Margaret Bongiovanni of Cazenovia; grandchildren, Joshua Pagel, Alicia Tabor, Jay Tabor, Heather and Justin Bongiovanni; great-grandchildren Leonna, Lainey and Lily Pagel, Hunter Helt, and Bradley Adams; brother Bill Bartels of Portage; and sister Connie Campbell of Janesville; along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Anita Pagel will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 15, 2020 at the Farber Funeral Home with Chaplain Mike Amberg officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Reedsburg. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
