Arnold (Dirty Dog) Ray Fuentes Sr., age 62, entered into eternal rest very unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
He was from Reedsburg, WI and formally from Victoria, Texas. He lived life his way and you couldn’t tell him anything. He made many memories and countless friends along the way. Family was always the center of his heart and he had the best of intentions. Pops had a strong faith in our Lord and Savior. Always saying I love and God bless you at every opportunity he had.
He instilled in his children to be strong and show the world who you really are. He taught us to stand alone if needed have loyalty and survival skills. Most of all how he loved in his own unique way. Love by many hated by some. He would be sure to tell you don’t play him.
His hobbies included taking a cruise on his E-Bike. He had a passion for gardening and keeping the yard beautifully done. He tried to repurpose almost anything in the most odd of ways. He loved being outdoors, and playing with his great granddaughters brought him so much joy.
In his younger days he was Golden Gloves Boxing Champion for consecutive years. He went on to become a sandblaster and professional painter.
Arnold was preceded in death by his mother and father, Frances Delores Valenzuela and Fredrico Fuentes Sr.; and his maternal and paternal grandparents, Eva Maria Garcia Lara (Chon), and Juanita Fuentes (Andres).
He was married to the late Nancy Ann Lucio for 18 years from that marriage there are four children: Arnold Ray Fuentes Jr., Roxann (Fred) Wiedenbauer, Johnny Ray (Faviola) Fuentes, and Jimmy Joel (Samantha) Fuentes “Baby Boy”; granddaughter, Martha Angelica Olivares; 10 additional grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; brother, Fredrico Fuentes Jr., Mario Furentes, Bobby (Michelle) Fuentes; sisters, Jenny Fuentes, Jody Fuentes. He then went onto create a life with Jessica Cardenas and had two sons from that relationship, Antonio Rene Fuentes and Aidan Jacob Fuentes. He is further survived by stepfather, Tomas Valenzuela.
He was an amazing loving PoPo always fair to all his grandchildren. He helped raise and take care of them all at some time in his life.
Remember him with a smile and the love he showed to everyone he met. Your job on earth is done. Rest with our Lord for eternity Pops.
