Barbara J. Hines, age 67, of Lime Ridge passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. She was surrounded at home by her loving family. Many thanks to Agrace Hospice, RAMC, United Methodist Church of Lime Ridge and her devoted sisters. Everyone in “Team Barb” honored her wishes and showed her great care and compassion. Barb was born on August 14, 1957, in Richland Center, WI, the daughter of William and Ruth (Starkey) Miller. Barb was a 1975 graduate of Riverdale High School. She enjoyed working and shopping at Land’s End for many years. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed motorcycle rides, traveling, music, gardening and time spent with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her second mom, Carol Bird Miller, also a special brother-in-law, Michael Schucht. Barb is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Clark) Delp and Nicky (Casey) Schultz; her companion, Steven Johnston and his sisters Lydia (Pat) Smith and Rhonda Johnston; her former husband, Roger “Charlie” (Dixie) Hines; her grandchildren: Tristen (Taryn) Delp, Alyssa Delp, Carrina Delp, Lauren (Parker) Lavigne, Mariah Delp, Blake Delp, Rhaya Schultz and Dayne Schultz; her great grandchildren, Cody Gillis and Gracie Delp; her siblings, Jeanne Schucht, Ellen (Pat) Hines, Kathy (Keith) Standorf, Nancy (Andy) Collins, David Miller (Karen Dieter), Jeff Miller and Steve Miller; her many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends . A Celebration of Life service for Barbara J. Hines will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, WI. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at a later date in the Muscoda, WI, Public Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barb’s honor shall be made to RAMC, Agrace Hospice or the United Methodist Church of Lime Ridge.
