Barbara L. Frost, age 95, of Reedsburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 14, 2023, she passed peacefully surrounded by family.  She was born on April 26, 1928, in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of Frank and Hazel (Henson) McIntyre. Barb grew up and went to school in Middleville, MI.  On September 22, 1946, Barbara was united in marriage to William L. Frost.  He preceded her in death in 1980. 

Barb was a homemaker while her three children were young. She later worked as a Nurse’s Aid,  When she moved to Wisconsin, she worked in several group homes in the Reedsburg area.

She loved to crochet, and collect frogs. Barb was known as the’ Frog Lady’ by many. She was an avid reader and tried her hand at many different crafts. A select few knew her as ‘Racing Granny’ as this was her CB handle for several years.

Barbara is survived by her children, William “Harold” (Nanc) Frost, Robert W. (Nancy) Frost of Hastings, MI,  Dorothy (Darrell) Stanley of Reedsburg, WI.; grandchildren, Shelia (Pat) Collins, Scott (Suzanne) Frost, Leah (Alan) Watterson, Connie (Frank) Chrisman, Brenda Frost Guillory, Patrick Trumbull and Timothy Trumbull all of MI.  Sherri (Mike) Lytle of Florida, Dorinda (Rob) Slaney and Darrah (Eric) Tomas of WI; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Wilma Frost and family of MI; close friends and caregivers, Fred and Barb Thompson, Linda Jenkins, Cheryl Schrank, Tammy Van Enkevort along with other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harold R. McIntyre.

A service celebrating Barbara’s life will be held on July 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Fusch Center in Reedsburg, with Michael Biesek officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideon's International.  The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
