Betty Lucille Dorow

Betty L. Dorow, age 94, of Reedsburg, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Zimmerman Nursing Home, Reedsburg.  She was born on October 22, 1926, in Franklin Township, Wisconsin, the daughter of Alois and Mary (Ostermeier) Grauvogl.  She was united in marriage to Karl A. Dorow. This marriage was blessed with two sons. Karl preceded her in death on February 26, 1977. Betty was employed with Reedsburg Utility for several years.  She was a volunteer at the Reedsburg Food Pantry and the Sauk Co Humane Society.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Mark (Colleen) Dorow of Waukesha; granddaughter, Katie; daughter-in-law, Connie Dorow, of Hillsboro; along with other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Dr. Steven Dorow in 2002.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Betty Dorow will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg with the Reverend Patrick Wendler, Pastor officiating.   Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Sauk County Humane Society.
