Beverly A. Roeckers

Beverly Ann Roeckers, age 74, of Reedsburg, passed peacefully away on January 5, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.She was born on April 1, 1948, in Tulsa, OK, the daughter of Robert and Kathleen (Lanzrath) Guilfoyle.Beverly was a 1966 graduate of St. Francis Academy, Nevada, MO.On December 26, 1966, Beverly was united in marriage to John D. Roeckers in St. John Catholic Church in Greely, KS.This marriage was blessed with six children.John preceded her in death on January 1, 2020.

Bev was honored to be a stay at home mom until their children started school.She later was employed in retail sales for Quinlin’s and Lady Luv before earning her CNA certification.Bev worked for several years as a CNA for Home Health United.For over 20 years, she worked as a phone operator at Land’s End before retiring.Beverly was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Reedsburg, where she served as the CCW President for several years. Beverly had a love of baking, she was known by many as “The Muffin Lady” and will be remembered for her delicious baked items. Over the years Bev baked many pies for church and fair pie auctions.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Christopher Henry; brother, Timothy Guilfoyle; brothers-in-law, Roger Rockers and Rick Ohmes.

Beverly is survived by her children, Jerald (Katrina) Roeckers of Holmen, Mark Roeckers of Winona, MN, Pamela (Terrence) Kilian of Sun Prairie, Matthew (Tara) Roeckers of Farmington, MN, Kimberly (Christopher) Ellefson of Reedsurg; grandchildren, Andrew Kilian, Bailee (Brandon) Klingler, Allysha (Trey) Prior, Catlin Kilian, Johnathan (Samantha) Ellefson, Corbin Ellefson, Grace, Samuel, Cecilia, Thomas and Augustine Roeckers, Alois and Wesley Roeckers; siblings, Carolyn (Mark) Hojanacki of Topeka, KS, Robert (Jackie) Guilfoyle of Wichita, KS, William (Jeanie) Guilfoyle of Ft. Scott, KS, Ruth Ohmes of Greeley, KS, Frank (Tammy) Guilfoyle of Richmond, KS, Curt (Connie) Guilfoyle of Richmond, KS, Gerette (Brennan) Dennison of Benton, KS, Norma Rockers of Garnett, KS; several nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with Deacon Ronald Pickar officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home. The Rosary will be prayed at 3:45 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Beverly in Greeley, Kansas on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. John Catholic Church. The Reverend Daniel Stover, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the Feuerborn Funeral Home from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 3:45 PM. Burial will be made in St. John Cemetery in Greeley, KS.
