Brian T. McManamy

Brian Thomas McManamy, age 50, of LaValle, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. He was born on March 10, 1971 in Reedsburg, WI, the son of Thomas Edward and Faye Ellen (Wormet) McManamy. He was a 1989 graduate of Webb High School in Reedsburg and the Universal Technical Institute in Illinois. He was a hard worker and employed as an automotive technician for many years at North Gary Auto Care Center in Carol Stream, IL. Brian loved to go boating with his friends and enjoyed snowmobiling. He was a generous soul and always willing to lend a hand or give advice.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Edward McManamy in June 2019.

Brian is survived by his mother, Faye McManamy of LaValle; brothers Todd (Dawn Bradshaw) McManamy of Columbus, WI, and Rodney (Tammy) McManamy of Apache Junction, AZ; niece Mackenzie McManamy; nephew Zachary McManamy; aunts, uncles, cousins; and boat-loads of friends.

A memorial service for Brian will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Pastor Lisa Newberry (Baraboo Presbyterian Church) officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials of remembrance may be made to the family for a 2022 Reedsburg Area High School auto mechanics scholarship in Brian’s name.

The service will be live-streamed and viewable on the Farber Funeral Home website.
