Chelsea Blake Mashak

Chelsea Blake Mashak, age 30, of Chicago IL, formerly of Loganville, passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2022.  She was born January 17, 1992 in Reedsburg, WI the daughter of Travis and Emily (Smith) Mashak. Chelsea is a graduate of Reedsburg Area High School.  She worked for Christmas Mountain/Bluegreen, Wisconsin Dells and later Chicago IL.  

Chelsea could light up a room with her contagious smile and filled a room with her laughter.  People were drawn to Chelsea by her quick wit and fun-loving personality.  She was loved by many.  The tributes to Chelsea from her friends on Facebook are heartwarming and healing.  The stories make us laugh and they make us cry but mostly they make us proud, proud of how many lives Chelsea touched with her presence and proud to know she was such a great friend to many.  

Chelsea was very proud to be an aunt to Billy and River.  She loved them with all her heart and talked about them all the time.

Chelsea is survived by her parents, Travis and Emily Mashak, LaCrosse WI, sister Samantha (Terry) Meeks Warroad, MN,  brother Hunter, Platteville, WI and two of her favorite people, nephew Billy Meeks and niece River Meeks.    Grandparents Virginia Smith and Dennis and Barb Mashak. 
Aunts and Uncles, Kent and Darcy (Overturf) Erdmann, Steven and Ardith Adelman, George and Lynne Thompson, Daryl and Janet Stieve, Ryan and Paula Mashak, Andrew and Connie Mashak, Mark Mashak, and Kevin Woyach.  Cousins, Leila, Jason, Jessica, Meagan, Tara, Neal, Jonathan, Nathan, Amber, Logan, Michael, Elena, Hannah and Autumn along with many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Chelsea is preceded in death by her Grandpa Billy Smith.

A memorial Service for Chelsea will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg.  A time of visitation will also be on Saturday, at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, Chelsea’s family is asking for donations in her name to the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) and that friends and family bring their favorite printed photo of Chelsea.
