Corey McFarland

Corey L. McFarland, 46, of Lake Delton, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison.

Corey was born July 19, 1977 in Madison to the late Eugene and Laura (McFarland) Palmer. On August 10, 2013 she married Luis Valentin.  

She was employed by Ho chunk casino for five years as a counter server/cashier in Ho-Chunk grill and was currently employed with Walmart of Wisconsin Dells since October 19, 2020 as a customer host.

Corey enjoyed going to hear her favorite bands, Sonic Rush and Cherry Pie.  She loved going to concerts and spending time with family and friends.  

In addition to her husband Luis, she is survived by sister, Tara Nava, her uncle's Sidney Palmer, Marvin Pagel, Willard and Danny Palmer, her aunts Janie, Beverly, Darlene Palmer, and Birdell Schrank, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nephews Romeo and Asher McFarland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Evelyn and George Palmer, and Cora McFarland, her aunties Bonnie Pagel, Shirley Chandler, Delores Reichoff and Eileen Roberts, uncles Don and Dick McFarland, Teddy Palmer and George Palmer Sr., and cousin Jamison Miller.

A Celebration of Life for Corey will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Reedsburg VFW Hall, 200 Veteran's Drive, Reedsburg, WI 53959.
