Craig A. Carter

Craig A. Carter, age 51, of Red Bud, IL, born on October 8, 1969 in Reedsburg, WI, died on Sunday, January 17, 2021 in Lenzburg, IL due to an automobile accident.

Craig was a Polish Finisher and was employed at Mac Medical in Millstadt, IL. He loved camping, fishing, cutting wood with his chainsaw for campfires, cooking and watching sunsets.  

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Clara Labrenz, Robert and Wilma Carter.

He is survived by his parents, David and Kathy (Labrenz) Carter; his sister, Laurie (Tracy) Lewis of Spring Green, WI; his nieces, Carly Lewis and Alexis Lewis; along with aunts, uncles and cousins; his girlfriend, Angela “Boo” Neumeyer of Red Bud, IL; Angela’s daughters, Katrina, Elizabeth and Renee; her 15 grandchildren; his close fishing buddies; Gary, Carl, Jeremy, Bob, Mike and David; and his high school friends, Tammy, Nick, Bryan, Brad, Kevin and Slippery. 

Craig will be deeply missed but will continue to shine and smile down on us and warm our hearts forever!

Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., 9900 St. Clair Ave., Fairview Heights, IL, 62208.  Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Hal Santos officiating. 

Additionally, there will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at Farber Funeral Home, 2000 Viking Dr., Reedsburg, WI, 53959.  Pastor Joe Corbin officiating. Visitation will also be on Thursday, at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the time of service.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, WI, 53952.
