Dale Clinton Karstetter, age 93, of LaValle, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at the Sauk County Health Care Center. He was born on October 9, 1931, in Madison, WI, the son of Ernest and Edna (Rabuck) Karstetter. Dale attended grade school in LaValle. He began farming at age 16 and remained in the agriculture field throughout his life. He will be remembered for his enthusiasm for everything John Deere. In his younger years, Dale enjoyed horses and attending rodeos. On December 29, 1951, Dale was united in marriage to Josephine Mary Small in the Ironton United Methodist Church. This marriage was blessed with seven children. Together, Dale and Josephine liked dancing and spending time with family and friends in their spare time.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine in August of 2023; his parents; children: Roland in infancy, Brian, Rodney and Russell; grandson, Kristopher; brother, Joseph (Judy) Karstetter.

Dale is survived by his children: Roger (Jenny) Karstetter, Cheril Ferge, Mark (Sherry) Karstetter; daughter-in-law, Sherry Karstetter; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Dale C. Karstetter, will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the Farber Funeral Home with Chaplain Mike Amberg officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Oak Lawn Cemetery, LaValle.
