Dale J. Olson, age 50, of Reedsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 18, 2024.  He was born on January 14, 1974, the son of James and Margaret (Mortimer) Olson.  Dale was a 1992 graduate of Wonewoc High School.  He went on to study at WTC. Dale delivered the Shopper Stopper in the area while being employed with Reedsburg Hardwoods for several years after college.  For the past 12 years, Dale was employed with Primex in Reedsburg.

On April 21, 2012, Dale was united in marriage to Amie M. Hartlaben in Green Bay, WI.  This marriage was blessed with one daughter, Autumn.

He was a member of the Advent Christian Church in LaValle where he was active in the church choir, a member of the dart ball team, and enjoyed serving as a counselor at church camp. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, cutting wood and preparing for the hunting season at his cabin.  He especially found happiness in spending time with his daughter, Autumn.  Dale was a Packer and Badger fan. He was a handyman, able to fix almost anything; he had skills in the kitchen and was known for his delicious cooking. Dale was quiet, easy going and very dependable. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Olson.

Dale is survived by his wife, Amie and daughter, Autumn, both of Reedsburg; mother, Margaret of Wonewoc; mother and father-in-law, Peter and Sharel Hartlaben of Bonduel; sister, Julie Olson of Reedsburg; brothers, Paul Olson of Reedsburg and Jerry (Sara) Olson of Wonewoc; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Craig (Megan) Hartlaben of Bonduel, Todd (Nicole) Hartlaben of Shawano; nieces and nephews, Shelby Fruit of Wonewoc, Beckett, Brooks and Boston Hartlaben, Grady and Chase Rosenlund, Claire and Vincent Hartlaben; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services for Dale J. Olson will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Advent Christian Church, LaValle, with Pastor Andy Johnson officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
