Daniel Gerald Drews, 42 of LaValle, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, at his residence.

Daniel enjoyed spending his younger years with his family and friends growing up in the Reedsburg, LaValle and Lime Ridge areas, loved spending time outdoors and at Lake Redstone, camping, cookouts, working outside or on vehicles along with his dad, he enjoyed going to auto sports events- tractor pulls, monster trucks, races, demolition derbies, he liked Fords, especially Mustangs. He enjoyed listening to and introducing his siblings to his favorite music and attending concerts and watching his favorite football team, the 49ers.

Daniel was proud to work at the Reedsburg Country Club for many years taking care of the grounds, landscaping, posting beautiful pictures from there. He watched storms roll by and liked capturing the photos.

Daniel was an avid mechanic always ready to help family and friends, working on vehicles or equipment or with anything they needed.

As their favorite uncle, his niece, Candra Peckham and nephews, Chris Drews, John Eccels, Kaden and great nieces and nephews will dearly miss him, along with many other family, friends and coworkers.

He is survived by his mother -Doris Drews; isters- Sherry Drews, Judy Drews (Dale Glaudell), Christina Drews (Guy Wink), Jeri Mckittrick (Tucker Connors), brother Patrick Spencer (Sara); and Leana Drews, Daniel’s life partner and stepson Owen Drews.

Daniel was also preceded in death by his father, Gerald G. Drews, paternal and maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Myrtle Drews, William and Erma Garey, his sister Ann Marie Drews, his great niece Skyla Ane Chevelle Sorenson. His dogs he called his boys, Odie, Milo and Gizmo.

A memorial service for Daniel is scheduled for Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 1:30 pm at Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg.  Chaplain Mike Amberg will officiate.  Visitation will also be on Saturday, at the funeral home from 12:30 pm until the time of service.  Burial will take place at a later date at Lime Ridge Cemetery.
