Daniel J. LaBansky

Daniel J. LaBansky, age 65, of Reedsburg, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2018 at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on January 31, 1953 in Reedsburg, the son of Arland E. and Mary Ann (Fields) LaBansky. Dan loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with friends playing cards. Dan was a self-employed carpenter and built many homes in Reedsburg.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Arland E. LaBansky.

He is survived by his mother, Mary of Reedsburg;

Children, Lisa (Shane) Zautke of Rock Springs and son, Gregory (Dana) LaBansky of Wonewoc;

Grandchildren: Zachary Zautke, and Ella and Clayton LaBansky;

Brother and Sisters: Thomas (Jane) LaBansky of Reedsburg,

Mary Jo (Tom) Perry of Portage,

Donna (Ken) Bradley of Reedsburg;

Several nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Daniel J. LaBansky will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Pastor Paul Crolius officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
