David A. Herritz, age 64, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025 after a tough battle with cancer. He was born on March 25, 1961 in Reedsburg, the son of Donald W. and Lyla (Krueger) Herritz. He was a graduate of Webb High School. David was employed as a machinist for Grede Foundry.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. David was preceded in death by his father, Donald; and brother, Mike.

He is survived by his mother, Lyla; son, Allan (Danielle) Herritz; brothers Dale (Jeanne) Herritz, and Patrick “Pete” (Misty) Herritz; sister-in-law, Jean Ann Herritz-Dunse; many nieces and nephews; along with other relatives and friends.

A private family service for David will take place. Burial will be made at a later date in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Reedsburg.

The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family.
