David A. Sharp, age 68, of Rural Baraboo, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 25, 2024. He was born on January 24, 1956, in Camanche, Iowa, the son of Wayne   and Lavera (Otterbeck) Sharp. He was a graduate of Central Community High School in DeWitt, Iowa. On May 2, 2015, he was united in marriage to Betty M. Kruse in Baraboo, WI.

David was employed at Kwik Trip in Wisconsin Dells and was a skilled drywall installer on the side. His energy was unlimited and often contagious to those around him. David had a lot of knowledge in fixing things and would help anyone in need. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. David was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church in Reedsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant siblings, Barbara and Ronald; sister, Mary Jo Fahlbeck; brothers, Dale, Darrold and Duane Sharp; brothers-in-law, Jack Fahlbeck and Loren Peterson; sister-in-law, Nancy Kruse in infancy.

David is survived by his wife, Betty; step-children, Nicholas (Becky) Moore, and Jolene (Derek) Westholm; step-grandchildren, Cody and Rowan; sister, Janet Peterson; brother, Douglas Sharp; sister-in-law,  Sherry  Sharp; father and mother-in-law, Marvin and Ruth Kruse; sister-in-law,  Mary Kruse; brothers-in-law, Ron (Jeanette) Kruse, Ken (JoAnne) Kruse, Allen Kruse (Linda Schlieckau), and Duane (Kathy Tholen) Kruse; several nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for David Sharp will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Pastor Clark Peterson officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service.
