David Allan Straight, age 61, of Cazenovia, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. He was born on June 27, 1964 in Wisconsin, the son of Charles L. and Joyce (Bliss) Shutter. David was a computer and radio repair man, and was also a ham operator.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son, John Straight of Reedsburg; and his daughter, Shana Olson of Tomah (His Boy).

He made many friends in his life both online, radio, and in person. He always made people smile and had a joke for when he met you. He was always around to give a helping hand. David was extremely helpful in taking care of his neighbor in Kendall, Wisconsin, as well as his mother until their passing.

He loved music and was an online Music DJ for many years. He often reminisced learning sign language to help people that where deaf near Viroqua and Coon Valley.

A celebration of life for David will be held at a later date.
