Dean L. Gilding Obituary

Dean L. Gilding, age 70, of Sauk City, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Casa de Oakes in Reedsburg.  He was born on July 17, 1953, in Madison, WI, the son of Linus and Marilyn (Reed) Gilding.

Dean grew up farming on the family farm, rural Sauk City.  He later and most recently worked as a technician and copier repairman. He was a pilot and enjoyed building planes in his Sauk Prairie Airport hangar.  He was a member of the EAA.

Dean is survived by his daughter, Kelli (Antonio) Trevino, grandson, Miguel Tervino, sisters, Linda Statz and JoAnn (Gary) Bindl, brother, Kevin (Jodie) Gilding, former spouse, Kathleen Biermaier, many nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Susan Gilding, and brother-in-law, Bernard Statz.

In accordance with Dean’s wishes, there will be no formal services.
