Debora Cook-Putnam, age 64, of Reedsburg passed away on July 4, 2023 with her daughters by her side, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born July 8, 1958, daughter to Mary Parmalee and Harold Cook.
Deb enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, often going out and about finding treasures at a local thrift store or garage sale. She of course inherited her love of bingo from her beloved mother, and it often bloomed into online gaming friendships that lasted years. The coffee was always ready to anyone who stopped by at any hour, and as a huge Mickey Mouse and Disney fan she always had a character mug for it. An avid reader of true crime novels early in life, led to the love of a great mystery and true crime TV was always playing. Deb had a deep love for animals and passed it along to her family. She often fostered dogs with her daughter for a local animal rescue.
Debora is survived by her daughters, Jamie (Jonathan), Tiffany (Brett), Nichole (Aaron) and Brittany (Cory); her grandchildren, Ivy and Veda, Keysha, Darron, Brooke and Eli, Hunter, Alex and Noah; her brothers, Harold (Peggy) Cook, and Hiram Hernstine; as well as many other family and friends.
In lieu of any floral arrangements the family requests a donation be made to a local animal rescue. A private celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
She will be missed dearly as she gains her wings and is greeted at the gates by the ones who have passed before.
