Delores I. Wersal

Delores Irene (Wick) Wersal, age 98, of Reedsburg, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020. She was born on March 5, 1922 to the late Paul and Cora (Zimmerly) Wick in Baraboo, Wisconsin. She married Clifton Wersal on February 24, 1941. He preceded her in death in March of 1968. She spent her adult life in Reedsburg and worked at Schultz Brothers and the Antique Mall. Delores was an avid quilter. She loved playing cards and Yahtzee.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clifton, and her sons; Gordon, Leland and Andrew.

Delores is survived by her son, Donald (Bonnie) Wersal and daughter Nancy (Norman) Arcand, daughters-in-law, Mary (Rich) Milz and Patty Reedy, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Carolyn (Duane) Giles, sister-in-law Helen Wick, and nieces and nephews, and special “sister” Madelene Schyvinch.

Funeral services for Delores Wersal will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Reedsburg with Pastor Bob Moberg officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 12 Noon until the time of the service at the church.
