Dennis N. Ott

Dennis N. Ott, age 75, of Hillpoint, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at the VA Hospital in Madison. He was born on May 19, 1945 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Roger and Roberta (Uphoff) Ott. He was married in 1993 to Tammy Baker. He was a machine operator for Canadian Pacific Railroad. Dennis proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1967.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Tammy of Hillpoint; children Sonja (Rick) Kruschke of Wisconsin Dells, Heath (Amy) Pickel of Hillpoint, Brandon (Jessie) Silvers of Reedsburg, Chantel (Jesse) Brantley of Reedsburg, and Justin (Bethany) Pickel of Hillpoint; grandchildren: Nicholas, Nathan and Rebecca Kruschke, Tucker, Maverick and Mallory Pickel, Hailey Holmberg and Annika Silvers, Tayvia and Holden Mitchell, and Justin “Bud” Pickel; brother Leonard (Sue) Ott of LaValle; many niece, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two grandchildren Ashlyn and Hayden Pickel.

A memorial service for Dennis will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Pastor Joseph Corbin officiating with military honors to follow. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials of remembrance may be made to the VFW Post #3434 or Hillpoint first responders and fire department.
