Donald O. Brooks, age 89, of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Casa de Oakes, Reedsburg.  He was born on March 4, 1935, in Wisconsin, the son of Oren and Edna (Roever) Brooks. 

Don was a graduate of Reedsburg High School.  He proudly served his country in the US Army and later in the Army Reserves. Upon his honorable discharge, Don farmed the family farm in rural Reedsburg. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Stone Church in Westfield Township, Sauk County. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Duane Brooks.

Don is survived by his sister-in-law, Barbara Brooks; nieces and nephews: Kay Mathews, Alan (Kari) Brooks, Gene (Anita) Brooks and Thomas (Tina) Brooks; 8 great nieces and nephews and 4 great-great nieces and nephews.

Private family burial will take place at a later date.
