Duane "Marty" Lester Martinson

Duane “Marty” L. Martinson, 75 of Friendship, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025 at his residence.

Marty was born October 29, 1950 in Madison, WI to the late Marvin and Irene (Gjertson) Martinson.

He was a member of Laborer’s Local 464 in Madison, working in the construction trade for many years as a Pipe Layer/Laborer. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing. What he enjoyed the most was spending time with his dogs.

Survivors include his brothers and sisters; Rodney Martinson of Madison, Theresa (Harvey) Aylsworth of Rock Springs, James (Roxanne) Martinson of Eastman, and Tina (Bill) Ellner of Sun Prairie. He is further survived by three nieces, three nephews, many cousins, friends, and his beloved dog, Bernie.

Due to his wishes, no services will be held at this time.
