Elizabeth F. VanWormer

Elizabeth VanWormer, age 98, of Reedsburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center. She was born on March 31, 1921 in Richland County, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Eckerman) Noel. She was a member of St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Reedsburg and Ladies Aid and Golden Agers.

She was preceded in death by, her daughter Shirley Emery, son Donald Hinrich, her grandson Daniel Strait, sister Irene Fisher, and her brothers; Virgil, Clarence, Fred and Willard Noel.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Oris) Dilley of Spring Green; thirteen grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, sisters; Leona Friske, Lorraine Strickert and Blanche Herritz; special friends, Robert (Joyce) Ellett of Reedsburg along with many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Elizabeth VanWormer will be conducted at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, October 7, 2019 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Reverend Paul Crolius, Pastor of St. Peter Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
