Eugene M. Bauer (EB), age 66, of Lime Ridge, WI, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2024 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo. He was born on June 27, 1957 in Hillsboro, the son of Eugene A. and Marilyn M. (Harrison) Bauer. EB was a 1975 graduate of Weston High School.

EB was a simple man and made the most of every day despite his numerous health problems.  He loved to laugh, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and having a cold beer. He enjoyed reading, and watching the SyFi channel. EB will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

EB is survived by his siblings, David (Tammy) Bauer of Hillpoint,  Vincent Bauer of Lime Ridge, Mary (Richard) Robel of Reedsburg, Melissa (Matt) Krueger of Lime Ridge; his aunt, Beverly Harrison of Richland Center; nephews and nieces, Ryan (Tara) Bauer of Hillpoint, Danielle (Dennis) Behn of Reedsburg, Travis (Brittney) Bauer of Baraboo, Ashley Green of Reedsburg, Niel (Lexi) Robel of Wonewoc, and Shawn Krueger of Platteville; along with other relatives and friends..

A Celebration of Life for Eugene M. Bauer will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Cazenovia Chapel. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
