On January 17, 2025, Eunice Fern (Sloniker) Rabuck departed from us to meet her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Fern was the first born to her loving parents, John P. Sloniker and Doris (Mortimer) Sloniker, on April 9, 1928, Henrietta Township, Richland County, Wisconsin.

 Fern graduated from Wonewoc High School in May of 1946 and married the love of her life, Herbert C. Rabuck, on June 18, 1946. They spent 70 years together raising and loving their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. To this union were born four children; David Lee, Marion Kay, Donald Herbert, and Marie Ann. Fern was a loving mother and always there for her family.

Fern enjoyed working many years as a CNA at the Reedsburg Hospital. During their retirement years, they spent several years during the winter traveling with their 5th wheel to warmer weather. 

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, sons David and Donald, and daughter, Marion (Robert) Campbell, three brothers, Russell, Leonard, and Arnold;  sisters in law, Laura Sloniker, Ruby McQueen, Jean Rabuck, and Grace Rott; daughter in law, Barbara Rabuck; and granddaughter, Ashtyn.

Survivors include her daughter, Marie (Kerry) Miller; grandchildren, Patrick (Whitney), Jim (Dea), Jacque, Jennifer, Holly, Elizabeth (Ivis), Robert (Trista), Desiree (Derrick), and Ashley (Doward);  great grandchildren, Logan, RJ, Jesse, Lucky, Amaría, Sebastian, Nolan, Bayoleth, Grace, Jack, Isabella, Sophia, Gunner, Dylan, Dom, Jeremy Jr., Kailyn and Brooklyn; sister Annabelle Cox, sisters in law, Marlene Sloniker, and Evelyn Sloniker.

Funeral services for Eunice Fern Rabuck will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 24, 2025 at the Valton Friends Church. Pastor Terry Woirol will be the officiant. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be made at the Valton Cemetery at a later date.
